In 1970, a worker at the Paulista Power and Light Company in Lins, Brazil, reported the observation of an unidentified flying object (UFO) over the electrical substation. Luis Nardi, 47 years old, described a bright disc that appeared at low altitude, about 100 meters away and 40 meters high. According to his testimony, the UFO had a size similar to a 200-liter barrel, with an oval shape and a yellow surface in the center. It did not emit any noise and moved silently. Nardi, initially silent out of fear of being taken as crazy, eventually decided to share his experience. The incident occurred on Sunday, March 22, 1970, and Nardi confirmed that the object was not the Moon, as it was too low.
