In 1987, Brazil's Ministry of Aeronautics received a confidential report on a UFO sighting. The account comes from a 29-year-old woman who saw multiple objects near the coast, with striking shapes and colors. According to her testimony, the objects moved at high speed and caused malfunctions in a firearm and a car. Accompanied by three people, she claimed the objects were heading toward a research ship. The report includes details such as distance, height, and direction of the objects, along with a description of their appearance and behavior.

Another observation recorded in December 1987 was confirmed by radar and binoculars in Guarulhos. Five oval-shaped objects were seen near the airport runways. A flight controller, with a physics background, described their slow movement and reddish-yellow color.
