CIAE 2024 UFO Sightings Report

Summary

In 2024, the Aerospace Identification Center (CIAE) analyzed 36 UFO sightings in Argentina. All cases were resolved as phenomena with known origins, although they provided valuable data to improve research methods. The testimonies and evidence collected included lights in the sky, reflections in vehicles, drones, and satellites, among others. Although the observed objects were not extraterrestrial, their analysis helped better understand how human perception can misinterpret common phenomena as extraordinary.

CIAE classifies cases into two types: Type A, when there is clear and definitive evidence, and Type B, when there are solid elements supporting a plausible hypothesis. The results are published to encourage review by the scientific community and the public, promoting an open and evidence-based debate. If someone proposes a new hypothesis, CIAE will consider it as long as it is supported by concrete evidence.
