🇦🇷 Fuerza Aérea — CIAE
The Center for Aerospace Identification (CIAE) of the Argentine Air Force presented a detailed report on 68 UFO sightings resolved in 2022. Each case was analyzed with scientific rigor, following the principle of Occam's Razor, which favors the simplest and verifiable explanations. Although all cases had identifiable causes, such as drones, birds, satellites, or optical phenomena, the report highlights the importance of civilian testimonies to improve research methods. The CIAE classifies cases into Type A (definitively explained) and Type B (explained with solid evidence), ensuring that each resolution is based on solid evidence. The document also addresses the need for open communication with the public to resolve doubts and avoid misinterpretations.
The report includes examples such as a case resolved as a drone with LED lights, another where a migratory bird flock was identified, and another confirming the presence of Starlink satellites. Each analysis is supported by images, videos, and meteorological data, showing how common objects can be misinterpreted as extraordinary phenomena. The CIAE also emphasizes the importance of modern technology, such as surveillance cameras and astronomical software, to validate observations. Despite no evidence of unexplained phenomena, the report underlines the value of scientific methodology to solve apparent mysteries and educate the public about natural and technological phenomena.
