In October 1954, in the French town of Poncey-sur-l'Ignon, several unexplained events caught the attention of locals. The first occurred on October 2nd when a woman observed a luminous object in the sky, initially mistaking it for the moon. Upon closer inspection, she described a vertical cylinder, orange with green reflections, moving silently near buildings. Although others confirmed the light, they couldn’t clearly see the object.
