Summary

On February 17, 1975, between 7:20 PM and 7:50 PM, several witnesses in different French departments observed unusual bright points in the sky. These objects, either one or two, stood out for their intense brightness and emitted no sound. The observations were long and careful, causing some concern among the witnesses. During the same period of the year, there was a notable astronomical conjunction between the planets Venus and Jupiter, which was also visible in the sky. The coincidence between the planetary conjunction and the presence of unidentified objects sparked debates about whether it was a natural phenomenon or an observation of an unidentified event.
