UFO seen near Villebois-Lavalette in 1977

On January 5, 1977, two people in a car observed a red-orange luminous phenomenon moving silently in a southeast-northwest direction. The object remained visible for about ten minutes, during which sparks were noticed before it gradually disappeared. Some other people on the same road also reported sparks coming from an electrical line oriented in the same direction. However, no further testimonies or explanations were gathered, leaving the phenomenon unexplained.
