Summary

An unusual UFO sighting occurred in July 1977 in the Gironde region of France. A person, along with her daughter, reported seeing an unidentified flying object shaped like a saucer, surrounded by a slightly yellowish halo. The object was moving slowly across the sky, spinning on itself, and seemed to be descending toward their car before ascending and disappearing in the direction of Bordeaux. Despite contacting several people, no additional testimonies were gathered to confirm or refute the witness's account.

The case, classified as "C" by the GEIPAN (French group for the study of unexplained aerial phenomena), remains unsubstantiated. The only source was a letter from the witness, limiting the possibility of verifying the facts.
