🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On the night of July 27, 1977, a family in Arbresle (France) observed three unidentified flying objects for a few minutes. The witnesses described the objects as pyramid-shaped with a rounded top, emitting white and colorful lights of varying intensity. The objects disappeared silently within seconds and reappeared about an hour later before vanishing permanently into the clouds. Despite the detailed account, no physical evidence was found, and no additional witnesses were reported.
The gendarmerie was unable to confirm the presence of the objects, which complicated the investigation. This case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, indicating it was not ruled out but also not considered conclusive. Although the testimonies are consistent, the lack of objective evidence and other observers limited further analysis. The case remains an unresolved mystery in the French UFO database.
