In October 1977, several witnesses in the Eure region of France reported seeing a luminous phenomenon in the sky. Descriptions varied: some described it as a bright ball, others as a red or white light that blinked or remained still. The gendarmerie was informed through the media, but no further testimonies were collected, and no unusual aerial activity was reported by the Evreux-Fauville base. Despite the differences in accounts, no anomalies were recorded on that day. It was suggested that the witnesses might have observed a common astronomical event, though the possibility of an unidentified object was not entirely ruled out.
