UFO sighted in France in 1977

Summary

On the night of October 8, 1977, a witness in Saint-Mars-d'Outillé (France) observed an unknown aerial object while returning home on a moped. The object had a flat base with a rounded shape on top, and was entirely illuminated by yellow lights surrounding a larger red light at the center. The witness, frightened, claimed the object followed him for three kilometers until his home. Once there, the object hovered above his house before disappearing at high speed. The lights and description suggest it might have been a helicopter, although other explanations cannot be ruled out.
