Summary

On November 10, 1977, witnesses at a restaurant in Kourou observed a luminous object for 15 minutes performing geometric figures in the sky. The object disappeared while descending in a spiral. No aircraft movements or rocket or balloon launches were reported that day. A witness reported the next day that he had seen a glider with a battery land in a hotel parking lot. Despite investigations, the glider's owner was never found.
