In July 1978, several witnesses in Haute-Vienne observed a bright yellow light in the sky emitting rays. The phenomenon lasted about 15 minutes, with one observer using binoculars to watch it closely before it disappeared. Due to the precise direction of observation and the position of Venus, which was particularly visible during that time of year, investigators concluded it was a conventional astronomical observation. Although the event seemed unusual, there were no signs of unidentified or unexplained activity.
