On the morning of June 10, 1979, a witness in Challain-la-Potherie observed an unusual luminous phenomenon after a storm. From his window, he saw a bright light in the southwest, moving slowly horizontally and occasionally up and down. At times, depending on the light's position, the witness perceived glowing circles. Later, another blinking light appeared from the north, passing over the first and quickly disappearing toward the south. Despite the light's prolonged presence, no sound was heard and no other witnesses were reported. This case remains a mystery due to the lack of additional information.
