In July 1979, two people in Morbihan experienced severe headaches after seeing a bright flash on the wall of their room. The light disappeared at the same time as the symptoms, and when looking out the window, they observed several luminous beams illuminating the road. A local newspaper later reported burned grass in a nearby field, though no specific source or date was given. The testimony was given decades later, in 2009, and no other witnesses were found, making any investigation difficult or impossible.
The case was classified as "C" by the GEIPAN, indicating an observation whose nature could not be determined with certainty. Despite the lack of additional data, the coincidence between the luminous phenomenon, the symptoms, and the report of burned grass raises questions. This type of isolated incident is common in UFO databases and often requires more information to be thoroughly assessed.
