Summary

In August 1979, a farmer in Drôme, France, discovered a burned circle of grass over 10 meters in diameter. What stood out was that the grass inside the circle was not only unburned but actually greener than in the surrounding field. A few days later, the witness noticed that pink mushrooms had grown both inside and outside the circle. This phenomenon was not new to the area, as similar cases had been observed in nearby meadows. Although there were no direct UFO sightings reported, the characteristics of the circle and the unusual presence of mushrooms generated interest.
