In September 1979, two witnesses in Evrecy (France) observed a luminous object in the sky. The object, circular in shape, was moving at high speed while descending slowly. Around it, there was an orange halo. One of the witnesses tried to open the window and received an electric shock. Despite the novelty of the phenomenon, no other testimonies or electrical anomalies were recorded. Investigators concluded it was likely a body entering the atmosphere. The electric shock, although occurring during the observation, was not directly linked to the phenomenon.
