Luminous object with radio interference at Le Loroux-Bottereau

Summary

On January 20, 1980, a witness in Loire-Atlantique observed for seven minutes an object first described as cylindrical with dark fins, which then took on an oval shape with a vivid yellow light. During the sighting, the witness noticed radio interference and tried to illuminate the object with a spotlight. The object then sped away rapidly, causing an electrical failure in the witness's vehicle. The case was reported to the gendarmerie, but no further data was obtained. The phenomenon remains unexplained.
