🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A case with very limited data. In July 2008, a witness recalled an experience from 1980 or 1981 while traveling with two family members along the Lyon–Avignon motorway heading south. For about thirty seconds, they saw a luminous ball that split into three stationary objects before vanishing into the sky. The exact date was arbitrarily estimated and no further information was obtained. The scarcity of data prevents any meaningful assessment of the case.
