Summary

On 21 April 1980, a witness in Le Pellerin heard a whistling sound and saw a flame fall nearby from the north-west. He described an object the size of a bucket, about 20 cm in diameter, displaying rainbow-like colours. There was no noise on impact and no smoke. Officers found a circular area roughly 100 metres across with burnt grass and a layer of white dust, but no craters or clear impact marks. A metallic fragment was recovered the next day, though the results of its analysis have not been preserved. The case was classified as C due to insufficient conclusive information.
