Vezzani (Corsica), red-orange sphere near a house

Summary

In April 1980, a witness in Haute-Corse saw a red-orange sphere the size of a football approach to within about five metres of his home. The object displayed an intense metallic glow. The impression was strong enough to wake other household members, who came outside to watch. No traces or marks were found the next day, and no additional testimonies were collected. The case remains unexplained.
