Luminous phenomenon over the Taverny military base

Summary

On the evening of August 7, 1980, several witnesses in Taverny saw a yellow-orange light pass swiftly over an antenna at the F.N.S. military base. The object climbed silently and was spotted on two separate occasions, at 9:40 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. No marks were found on surrounding vegetation, and no further testimonies were collected. GEIPAN classified the case as C, finding no conventional explanation.
