Blinding luminous balls in the Eastern Pyrenees

Summary

Two large luminous balls appeared in the sky over Le Soler, in the Eastern Pyrenees, on the night of February 23, 1981. They emitted an intense, blinding light for a few seconds, went dark, and briefly flared again at the same spot before vanishing for good. A single witness observed the phenomenon and claimed to have suffered constant fatigue and malaise ever since. The absence of other testimonies and additional data makes any rigorous assessment of the case virtually impossible.
