🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
Shortly after 10:45 PM on August 3, 1981, several people in Saint-Astier, Dordogne, saw a luminous object zigzagging at high altitude from east to west, displaying intermittent white and red lights. Despite its impressive speed, no sound was heard. The observation lasted under five minutes. The witnesses could not identify the object and, given the lack of concrete data, GEIPAN classified it as C, unexplained.
