Fluorescent hemispheric object hovering low in Saint-Fiacre in 1981

Summary

On November 1, 1981, the occupants of a vehicle in Saint-Fiacre spotted an object just 100 meters away, hovering motionless about 30 meters above a field. It was hemispheric, fluorescent in color, and had a projector on its lower right side emitting intermittent white light toward the ground. The heat it radiated blurred its edges. After dropping someone off at home, the witnesses returned to find the object gone. No physical traces or additional witnesses were found, and the case remains unexplained.
