Elongated luminous objects over Saint-Herblain

Summary

Between 23:20 and 23:30 on 1 February 1982, several amateur astronomers in Saint-Herblain observed about a dozen slightly elongated luminous objects moving silently toward the southeast. The objects maintained steady bright colours and showed no change in shape or hue during the ten-minute observation. Although the witnesses used binoculars, they could not identify the phenomenon. GEIPAN classified the case as C and it remains unexplained.
