On the evening of 30 March 1982, between 21:00 and 22:15, several drivers in the Hautes-Alpes spotted grouped cigar-shaped objects moving horizontally without any sound, some at high speed. Despite multiple testimonies, the lack of precise information prevented identification. GEIPAN classified the case as C.
