Luminous triangle with zigzag movements over the Atlantic Pyrenees

Summary

At around 23:00 on 21 April 1982 several observers in the Atlantic Pyrenees noticed a bright object at high altitude. Through binoculars they described a triangular shape emitting intense light. It zigzagged and occasionally hovered, leaving no visible trail. Some witnesses tracked the phenomenon for over four hours until it disappeared. Despite the length and clarity of the observations, insufficient data were obtained for a conventional explanation.
