Summary

On the nights of May 8 and 9, 1983, several witnesses in Vescovato, Corsica, observed a round, intensely white luminous object in the sky. One witness, using binoculars, reported seeing a structure with internal windows. The object moved both horizontally and vertically without producing any sound, despite windy and hazy conditions. Although Venus was present in the observed sector, it could not be confirmed as the source. GEIPAN classified the case as C—no conclusive explanation was reached.
