🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A data-sparse case. In November 1983, several witnesses in Moselle saw a football-sized orange ball cross the sky silently between 6:00 and 7:00 PM, leaving a long colored trail. The observation lasted only seconds. GEIPAN concluded it was probably a body entering the atmosphere and classified the case as B. No further follow-up was conducted.
