🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On the night of January 21, 1985, residents of Cosne-d'Allier reported strange lights in a ruined house. The explanation was mundane: a short circuit in an electric fence. That same evening, however, between 8:45 and 9:15 p.m., a motorist and his wife saw a yellow triangular phenomenon that appeared to follow them before vanishing abruptly. Local authorities did not record the incident and no further information emerged. GEIPAN classified the case as C — common causes were ruled out, but insufficient data prevent a conclusion. The coincidence of two distinct phenomena in the same area on the same night remains unexplained.
