From 8 March 1985 a witness on the 14th floor of his Nanterre apartment block repeatedly observed a star-like light moving slowly across the sky. Ten days later he tried to film it, but the light seemed to rush towards him, causing intense fear and driving him to take shelter with his neighbours. The investigation determined the light was Jupiter, which was very bright at that time of year. Despite the astronomical explanation, the experience left a deep emotional impact on the witness.
