Summary

On 13 September 1985 several witnesses on Réunion island, including gendarmes, observed a bright white boomerang-shaped object moving silently and undergoing abrupt shape changes, at one point appearing spherical before vanishing. It later emerged that another person had had a similar experience on 6 August of the same year. Despite the overlap between independent testimonies, no additional evidence was produced. Classified C, the case received no clear explanation, and media interest yielded no new data.
