Fleeting luminous sphere with incandescent trail in Seloncourt

Summary

Shortly after 6 a.m. on 12 March 1987, a witness in Seloncourt watched for four to five seconds a luminous sphere the apparent size of the full moon. It moved silently, leaving a faint incandescent trail. No further data were recorded. Classified as C by GEIPAN, the case remains without a conventional explanation despite the clarity of the testimony.
