Silent helmet-shaped object over Port-la-Nouvelle

Summary

On 26 January 1988, a witness in Port-la-Nouvelle observed a large object flying at low altitude. He described it as helmet-shaped with two wings, producing no sound. It emitted a white light that turned orange just before it vanished quickly. No conventional explanation or additional physical evidence was found.
