🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
On February 7, 1989, a witness in Haute-Savoie observed for a few seconds about ten luminous points moving at high speed over the Jura mountains. No other testimonies were recorded in the area, though an atmospheric entry was considered as a hypothesis. The report notes a possible connection to a similar phenomenon observed the same day in southwestern France, which would support a common atmospheric event. GEIPAN classified the case as B, with no conclusive data either way.
