🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
A data-poor case. On 19 August 1989, around 23:00, a gendarme and his wife saw a large orange light—roughly four times the apparent size of a star—above the local brigade buildings in Le Conquet, Finistère. The phenomenon vanished at high speed without a trace. No further details were obtained. GEIPAN classification: C, no conventional explanation identified.
