A sparse case. On May 23, 1992, around midnight, two witnesses in separate vehicles observed a very vivid light in the Vaucluse region. The phenomenon lasted only two to three seconds. Despite stormy weather, both ruled out lightning. GEIPAN classified it as C, unable to determine its nature.
