Brief fireball over Cierp-Gaud in 1992

Summary

On 21 October 1992, a couple driving near Cierp-Gaud (Haute-Garonne) witnessed a very fast luminous phenomenon lasting only two to three seconds. They described a bright ball followed by a trail and incandescent points. Limited data prevented a thorough investigation, but the evidence points to an atmospheric entry. Classified B by GEIPAN.
