In April 2008, a witness recalled an observation from 1993 in the Camargue (Bouches-du-Rhône). Together with another person, he had seen a luminous phenomenon that arrived like a shooting star, stopped, zigzagged, and vanished at high speed. The report lacked precise date and location, preventing any in-depth investigation. Investigators suggested a conventional atmospheric entry, though the scarcity of data left the case without a firm resolution.
