Firefighter spots bright light from the A11 motorway

Summary

On 23 February 1993, a volunteer firefighter driving along the A11 motorway between Le Mans and Angers (Sarthe) saw a very bright light in the sky that vanished in four to five seconds. While not conclusively identified, an atmospheric entry was considered the most likely explanation. Classified B by GEIPAN.
