V-shaped formations of luminous spheres over Cavaillon

Summary

On the night of 2 July 1993 two witnesses near Cavaillon saw two V-shaped formations of white luminous spheres. The objects hovered for a few seconds before vanishing at high speed, producing no sound. Their spouses confirmed the sighting. In 2009 GEIPAN re-examined the case, compared it with similar observations — including those caused by the Patrouille de France aerobatic team — and reclassified it as A.
