In the early hours of 14 July 1993 a witness in Lavazan watched a white, circular shape spin and appear to duplicate itself for about fifteen minutes. No other witnesses were found. Given the date — Bastille Day celebrations — investigators considered a nightclub light beam or laser the most likely explanation. GEIPAN classification: B.
