Rotating luminous triangles over Menton

Summary

Reported in 2008, this sighting took place between 1993 and 1997 with no precise date. Six people saw, between 9 and 10 p.m. under clear skies, luminous dots forming two isosceles triangles rotating around their axes. They suddenly stopped and moved in opposite directions: one headed toward Mont Gros and disappeared behind the terrain; the other halted over the sea before vanishing. The late reporting hampers investigation. While many triangle sightings are explained by aircraft viewed from unusual angles, the data here are insufficient to confirm that.
