Intense light and physical effects at Rémilly

Summary

On 7 August 1993 at 22:45 a driver in Moselle watched a very bright, stationary white light for about one minute. When it went out he heard a whistling sound and saw a dark shape move away at high speed. The next day he experienced muscle pain, and upon returning to the spot he suffered severe headaches at the exact location of the sighting. The investigation confirmed no air traffic was in the area. The phenomenon remains unexplained.
