🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
Around 6 a.m. on August 19, 1993, gendarmes in the Gard area received multiple calls reporting a very loud noise, a bright light, and a blast. Witnesses agreed the experience was highly unusual, causing concern among locals. An on-site inspection yielded no concrete evidence. The leading hypothesis was a low-flying aircraft, though it was never confirmed. GEIPAN classified the case as B, leaving it without a definitive resolution.
