In October 1993, homeowners in Pas-de-Calais found strange marks in their garden: wavy lines of flattened grass and a circle at the intersection of two lines. They also reported a yellowish light near the ground and unusual behavior from their dogs. However, upon reviewing the case decades later, GEIPAN concluded the light was unrelated to the marks and could have a natural cause or be coincidental.
GEIPAN emphasized that its scope is limited to cases involving simultaneous aerial phenomenon testimony, and ground marks alone fall outside that remit. The traces could be explained by animals, people, or natural phenomena. The case was reevaluated as unexplained but outside the organization's scope.
