On the evening of 5 February 1994, a woman driving through Huelgoat in Finistère spotted a luminous ball streaking across the sky for just a few seconds. A second motorist independently confirmed the sighting via CB radio. The short duration and high speed of the phenomenon point toward an atmospheric entry, most likely a meteor burning up. No physical evidence was recovered. GEIPAN classified the case as B — no definitive explanation — though the consistent accounts from two independent witnesses and the object's behaviour strongly support a natural, transient phenomenon.
