🇫🇷 GEIPAN / CNES
While driving along a road in Loire-Atlantique on 11 June 1994, a witness spotted a lemon-sized object fitted with multiple lights and a cable on top. When the driver slowed to about 20 km/h, the object kept pace as if following the car. Upon being reached, it duplicated itself without changing shape or size, then accelerated sharply, turned right, flew over a wood, and shot straight up at remarkable speed. The entire episode was silent and lasted several minutes. GEIPAN classified the case as D — no conventional explanation could account for the observation, and the object's identity and origin remain unknown.
