Small craters with scorched grass in a Jard-sur-Mer garden

Summary

On 31 July 1994, a resident of Jard-sur-Mer, Vendée, found several small craters in their garden grouped at four distinct spots, surrounded by scorched grass. Rocky fragments were recovered from inside the craters. A meteorite fall was considered but never definitively confirmed. GEIPAN classified the case as A.
